Financial Aid and Scholarships
Financial Aid
All students (part-time and full-time) should apply for financial aid immediately after applying for admissions to HCC. By submitting a financial aid application (FAFSA), you may qualify for grants, loans, scholarships, and work-study funds.

- Students ineligible for federal aid through the FAFSA may be eligible for state or institutional aid by completing the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA).

Scholarships
Scholarships are a great, debt-free way to help with the cost of your education. At HCC, there are scholarships awarded by financial aid, the HCC Foundation, and outside groups.

Payment Methods and Installment Plans
Installment Payment Plans are available for qualifying part-time and full-time students. To sign up for a payment plan, you must pay a $30 sign-up fee and a percentage of your total bill as a down payment.

Military & Veteran Benefits
At HCC, we value the dedication and sacrifice of our Veteran & Military Affiliated students. As a military-friendly college, you can apply your military education benefits to continuing education and credit courses. These benefits can also be paired with financial aid to lower costs.
