A donation from Comcast Texas will boost student digital literacy at Houston Community College and help shrink the digital divide. The $20,000 gift to the HCC Foundation continues Comcast’s support of HCC’s education mission. It is part of the company’s Project UP, a $1 billion initiative to advance digital opportunities nationwide.

Highly skilled endoscopy technicians are in demand across the nation, and gastroenterologists are increasingly turning their eyes to Houston Community College (HCC) to seek recruits. HCC Coleman College for Health Sciences is home to the Endoscopy Technician program, the only one in the state and one of three in the nation. It provides a certificate over two semesters.
